Spinal Cord Injury Therapy Leads (SCITL)
The Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy leads share a combined meeting twice a year, in association with the separate meetings of Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy. This has proved beneficial given the overlapping roles and responsibilities undertaken by each profession within the various SCI Centres. To provide structure and develop the role of this group as a SCI therapy resource, a constitution has been drafted along with a logo. It is planned that this group will become a vehicle/mechanism for the promotion of best practice initiatives within SCI therapy management in association with MASCIP.
