SIA Study Day – Continence Matters: Introduction to Managing the Neurogenic Bowel in Spinal Cord Injury
Continence Matters: Introduction to Managing the Neurogenic Bowel in Spinal Cord Injury is taking place in Milton Keynes on 13 February 2019. This study day is being run by the Spinal Injuries Association and is aimed at healthcare professionals interested in or working with individuals with neurogenic bowel dysfunction as a result of SCI.
It’s a new event which will not only increase delegates’ understanding of the impact of SCI on bowel function but, also, through clinical presentations and product engagement, raise awareness of different management methods. The day will have a strong interactive element, where delegates will have the opportunity to view product demos facilitated by invited exhibitors – Coloplast, Wellspect Healthcare, MacGregor Healthcare and Aquaflush – which, with the knowledge gained through the presentations, will enable them to improve bowel care provision for individuals with SCI.
