Getting the basics right: ensuring good care for those requiring neurorehabilitation.

This one day conference, to be held at the Art Conference centre in Basingstoke on Tuesday 5th July 2016, is aimed at all those who work with adults who are recovering from a neurological disorder.
We will be looking at the care needs of those requiring neurorehabilitation; how can we ensure we are getting the basics right.
Areas to be covered will include the human rights of those with disability, the referral pathway into rehabilitation, the mental health needs of our patients as well as management of their nutrition, skin health, muscle spasticity, respiratory care and continence.
The conference is of relevance to doctors, therapists, nurses and psychologists, as well as social workers, commissioners, case managers and lawyers who want to ensure that patients they are responsible for are being cared for properly.
A speaker list and indicative program will be circulated to those who register.
