Principles of Accessible Kitchen Design

This one-day course examines the principles of accessible kitchen design, with emphasis on unique features developed for clients with visual impairments and wheelchair users.

Delivered by award-winning accessible kitchen designer, Adam Thomas, the course covers essential elements for accessibility, common errors in accessible design, problem solving, and a practical case study examining the ideal scenario for a client with complex access issues.

The training day includes refreshments and all materials for the case study plus a demonstration of the new wheelchair accessible kitchen at CETAL Bucks, fitted with state-of-the-art safety features and a range of innovative door openers.
