SIA Study Day on spinal cord injury acquired through illness or condition

Following on from the success of the relaunched Spinal Injuries Association Study Day looking at the various conditions described as ‘non-traumatic’ in spinal cord injury, which took place in London in September, there will be another session in Wakefield on Wednesday 21 February 2018. Based on the agenda for the London event, the day will look at issues including Cauda Equina Syndrome, Metastatic Spinal Cord Compression, Transverse Myelitis and continence management.

The cost to attend this Study Day, which has been renamed Symposium on Spinal Cord Injury Acquired Through Illness or Condition, is £50 +vat for NHS health professionals and students and £100 +vat for non-NHS staff.

The Study Day programme has been developed in order to provide healthcare professionals working in non-specialist settings with knowledge of the complex and sometimes unique issues that affect people with spinal cord injury, and is a valuable opportunity to see experts in the field at first hand.
