Following on from the success of the relaunched Spinal Injuries Association Study Day looking at the various conditions described as ‘non-traumatic’ in spinal cord injury, which took place in London in September, there will be another session in Wakefield on Wednesday 21 February 2018. Based on the agenda for the London event, the day will look at issues including Cauda Equina Syndrome, Metastatic Spinal Cord Compression, Transverse Myelitis and continence management.
The cost to attend this Study Day, which has been renamed Symposium on Spinal Cord Injury Acquired Through Illness or Condition, is £50 +vat for NHS health professionals and students and £100 +vat for non-NHS staff.
More information will be added to the website as it is confirmed, but if you would like to express an interest now, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Study Day programme has been developed in order to provide healthcare professionals working in non-specialist settings with knowledge of the complex and sometimes unique issues that affect people with spinal cord injury, and is a valuable opportunity to see experts in the field at first hand.
The Study Day will run from 9.00am to 4.00pm (approx) and lunch and refreshments will be provided. Places are limited so please ensure you book soon to avoid disappointment. There are some exhibiting opportunities available at this event; please email email@example.com for more details.
