Fitness in Neuro course will be hosted by South West ACPIN in Plymouth on the 18th July. The course is being led by Professor Frederike van Wijck from Glasgow Caledonian University and Bex Townley from Later Life Training.
The course will provide an overview of fitness parameters and evidence for physical fitness training after stroke, barriers and motivators to physical activity after stroke, and behavioural change strategies to encourage stroke survivors to be more physically active.
The day will be held at University of Plymouth – PAHC from 9am-4.30pm. Costs are - £35.00 ACPIN Members & Students and £50.00 for non-members.
