Spinal Cord Injury - Respiratory Management

Aims:

This course is aimed at the multidisciplinary team addressing the needs of a spinal cord injured patient, with Neurological Respiratory compromise. The course will provide an overview of the first 24 hours following acute SCI, respiratory function, routine and prophylactic intervention, Cough, management of infections and weaning.
